Who we are
Dereflexion Consulting (Private) Limited is a Zimbabwe registered and incorporated company. The company was formed in 2015 with a view to offer professional services to small and medium enterprises, as they grow into large corporations. Dereflexion Consulting is registered with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) of Zimbabwe. Its partners are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) which in turn is a member of IFAC.
Our Identity
De Réflexion – derived from the French word réflexion, meaning reflection or thought consideration. Our firm is here to reflect with you as you go through all phases of your business life. Dereflexion is a multi-faceted consulting firm which allows us to take the shape relevant to your particular needs. We are here to help you improve and grow your business.
Our emblem is the wisdom knot of the African people of Ghana and Ivory Coast. An especially revered symbol, it conveys the idea that ‘a wise person has the capacity to choose the best means to attain a goal’. Being wise implies broad knowledge, learning and experience, and the ability to apply such faculties to practical ends of yourself and others.

Meet the Dereflexion Team
Tatenda Muronda
Managing Partner - CA (Z), RPA, CFE
Tatenda Muronda is a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe), a registered public auditor with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board of Zimbabwe (PAAB). She is also a practicing Certified Fraud Examiner. Tatenda is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Tatenda also holds certificates in short- and long-term insurance issued by the Institute of Insurance of Zimbabwe (IIZ). Tatenda is studying towards attainment of a Master’s in Governance and Leadership. She is also in the processing of attaining a Certificate in Information Systems Audit (CISA) with ISACA.
Her work experience spans over fifteen (15) years in a public practice environment, and in industry and commerce. Tatenda is in alumni of Ernst and Young (EY). Tatenda sits in various committees within ICAZ. She is also serves as a board member in various organisations.

Tinashe Mukadzambo
Partner - FCCA, MBA
Tinashe Mukadzambo is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) who has acquired over ten (10) years post qualifying experience in audit. Tinashe completed his articles of clerkship with Ernst and Young Zimbabwe. He is a holder of a Master’s in Business Administration obtained with the University of Zimbabwe. He has gained commercial and industrial experience having worked in senior positions in finance for various companies in engineering, food processing, tobacco processing and cigar rete manufacturing, and automobile sectors over the past ten
years. Currently he chairs the Boards of Trustees of Media Monitoring Project of Zimbabwe
(MMPZ) a media watchdog and Citizens Health Watch (CHW) a health services watchdog.

Tererayi Mangoma
Executive Consultant - ACFE
Tererayi is an alumnus of Ernst & Young having served in the Business Tax Compliance and Entrepreneurial Services Department. Tererayi has experience with start-ups in the financial services sector as a financial consultant focusing on microfinance and trade finance chain finance. Tererayi is has gained extensive experience in the private voluntary organisations (PVO) sector of the economy. He is a holder of a certificate in banking issued through the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe (IOBZ). Tererayi is a member of the Association of Fraud Examiners a global association dedicated in raising fraud awareness and aiding those in fraud examinations with relevant tools. Being an entrepreneur himself, Tererayi is enthusiastic about building lasting businesses. He understands the challenges and opportunities available to local business. He has been pivotal in development of the organisation’s digital platforms for roll out to the market and formulation of the business strategy.

Tavonga Chikwenhere
Executive Consultant - AFA, MIPA, SAP FI, MBA (Global)
Tavonga Chikwenhere is a Public Financial Management Consultant/Specialist with over seventeen (17) years of experience working in both the public and private sector. He has worked on various World Bank. UNDP and GIZ public finance reform projects within the African continent, undertaking the design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting of Public Financial Management Systems with the aim of improving Transparency and Accountability. Tavonga is an SAP FI certified Consultant, Associate member of the Institute of Financial (UK) and member of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia). He also holds an MBA (Global) degree from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Tavonga is passionate about the development of strong financial management systems in both the public and private sector as they promote service delivery, transparency and enhance the return to all stakeholders..

Musekiwa Samuriwo
Executive Consultant - MBA (Steinbeis, Germany)
Musekiwa is an entrepreneur and business strategy consultant specialising in strategic planning and development, innovation and creativity, team building, product development and futures research. He is passionate about strategy and building the right teams. He has over eleven years (11) of experience working in software development, branding and advertising and training and development. He has founded 3 technology companies, Cybercard Enterprise Solutions, OPEXA (Open Exchange Africa) and CQE Energy leading projects in Zimbabwe,
Tanzania and Kenya. He is the author of 5 books, The Catapult Elect, The God Idea and The Shark, the Japanese Fisherman, How to own Your Carand The Lion and the Maasai Warrior. He’s also the co-author of the Stimulus Enterprise Development Manual.
He is an avid and broad reader. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Steinbeis in Germany.

Rumbidzo Nengere
Consultant - B Com Honours Degree Internal Auditing
Rumbidzo is a holder of an honours bachelor’s degree in Internal Auditing from the Zimbabwe Open University. She is a Certified Accounting Technician in Financial and Management Accounting (CAT) a certificate offered through ACCA. She has skills in financial Management and administration having worked in the private sector with entities in various industries. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Science degree in Risk management and
Insurance with NUST. She is also a holder of a certificate in short term insurance.

Rutendo Masunungure
Consultant
Rutendo Masunungure holds an advanced diploma in Accounting and Business and is
currently studying towards a qualification with ACCA as a chartered certified accountant.
Rutendo has experience working in the private sector with start ups. She is responsible for ensuring that our internal administration affairs are kept in order.

Lisa-Jean Munamati
In-house Legal Consultant
Lisa-Jean Munamati is our in-house legal consultant. She is a graduate with a Bachelor
of Laws Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe. Her past working experience in commercial firms and law firms has equipped her as a valuable member of our team, whose
knowledge of tax law in Zimbabwe will ensure ethical and reliable service to our clientele.
Lisa-Jean ensures that our internal and external documents are compliant. Lisa-Jean has special interest in the fields of Commercial Law, Family Law and Intellectual Property Law
